Our Leadership Team
Brian joined Basepoint in 2006 as Operations Director and following his appointment to the Basepoint Limited Board on promotion to Managing Director in 2013 he is now responsible for the delivery of Basepoint’s strategic and operational plans. Brian has a diverse background in Business Management, gained within blue chip organisations in both the retail and leisure sectors. With experience in managing a diverse portfolio of multi-site businesses, Brian brings operational insight to all aspects of Centre Management.
Caroline joined Basepoint in 2002, firstly as an Assistant Manager at Southampton, before being promoted to Centre Manager in 2003, followed by Regional Manager in 2012. In 2015 Caroline was promoted to the Basepoint Board as Operations Director. Before joining Basepoint Caroline worked in hotels in various parts of England before moving to conference and events management.
Petra was a Book Keeper for the Canada House Business Centre in Eastcote when Basepoint acquired it in 2007 and at that time she transferred across and joined the head office based finance team in Windsor. She was promoted to Financial Controller in 2013, followed by a further promotion to the Basepoint Board as Finance Director in 2015. Petra previously worked in the hotels sector gaining extensive experience of customer service and support, both in the UK and Europe.
Sales and Marketing Manager
Chris Pryor joined Basepoint in 2009 as a Centre Manager at High Wycombe. In 2010 he was promoted to Regional Manager, with responsibility for 4 centres. In 2012 he moved into the role of Sales and Marketing Manager. Prior to Basepoint Chris was a Key Account Manager for a member benefits company.
Business Systems and Process Manager
Karen joined Basepoint in 2003 as a Centre Manager and was promoted to Regional Manager in 2008. In 2015 Karen moved into her current role as Business Systems and Process Manager. Prior to Basepoint Karen worked in office and project management, implementing projects for clients worldwide.
Vicky joined Basepoint in 2011 as Assistant Manager at the Romsey centre, in 2013 she was promoted to Centre Manager and more recently to Regional Manager. Vicky will be looking after 4 centres in the Hampshire area, Southampton, Gosport, Havant and Waterlooville. Vicky has a very active outdoor lifestyle and regularly competes her horses.
Rebecca joined Basepoint in 2007, firstly as an Assistant Manager at Crawley, before being promoted to Centre Manager in 2008, followed by Regional Manager in May 2015. Rebecca is responsible for 4 centres across Sussex, Crawley, Haywards Heath, Newhaven and Shoreham. Before joining Basepoint Rebecca graduated from university and travelled including spending a ski season working in France.
Chris joined Basepoint in June 2010 as a Regional Manager following a varied career spanning hospitality and catering management, facilities management and management of a large independent business centre.
Rebecca joined Basepoint in 2001 as Centre Manager at Romsey and then moved in 2010 to open our new centre at Winchester. Promoted to Regional Manager in 2012, Becky now has responsibility for 4 centres in Hampshire and Surrey. Prior to Basepoint she organised business events, trade missions, promoted business opportunities within the region for a public private partnership and worked in a counselling and training centre.
Darren joined Basepoint in 2011 as Centre Manager for Exeter. He was promoted to Regional Manager in 2012 and now has responsibility for 5 of our centres in the south west. Before joining Basepoint Darren ran another business centre in Exeter city centre and has worked in the transport industry.
Carly joined Basepoint back in 2008 as Centre Manager for Bournemouth and was promoted to Regional Manager in 2012, now covering Basingstoke, Camberley, Romsey and Winchester. Prior to moving to Basepoint Carly worked for a Business Travel Agency for 10 years, after completing a Tourism degree. Carly was in charge of the Hotel Reservations team.
