TV Presenter Nick Knowles Comes to Chepstow with a Healthy Plan for 2017

Chepstow

Fan of TV presenter Nick Knowles can kick off 2017 with inspiration from his new book about healthy eating. He will be coming to Chepstow Drill Hall on Thursday, January 26, to speak about his new book “Real Healthy Food” and how he decided to get back into shape.

In 2015, Mr Knowles describes how he was “feeling every one on his 53 years” and travelled to Thailand for a retreat before adopting a purely vegan diet.

After returning to the UK as a “changed man”, he now eats a vegan or vegetarian diet with the odd day off but wants to share what he has learned with everyone else who wants to look and feel better.  Mr Knowles said: “I’m 6’2” and 16 stone. I need hearty meals not thin weedy plates and I often work in cold and wet conditions – a salad won’t cut it – so here’s a vegan and vegetarian cookbook for meat eaters that is full of hearty and healthy recipes.

“Why feel bad about the cake you have with your coffee at elevenses when you can have a healthy raw chocolate cake with your coffee? There's posh meals to impress, puds to make your loved one swoon and surprisingly yummy options that are easy to throw together with ingredients we can all get hold of.

“And if I can do it - then you can do it.”

The talk will start at 7pm, tickets are £3 per person and can be bought from www.chepstowbooks.co.uk
