ANOTHER SUCCESSFUL NETWORKING HUB AT BASEPOINT EXETER

Exeter

Basepoint Exeter hosted yet another successful Networking Event on Thursday 12th January, to local businesses in and around Devon.

The free event which was fully booked was a great opportunity for informal networking and was attended by over 50 local business people who were treated to Tea and Coffee and a tasty buffet lunch supplied by Taste Catering, Exeter.
The Networking Hub format was largely informal; with a talk from Duncan Coe and Derek Evans from Cotswold Archaeology who are also a Licensee here at Basepoint Exeter.

Cotswold Archaeology (CA) is one of the largest archaeological contractors in Britain and provides a comprehensive archaeological and heritage service to the development industry from our four offices in Cirencester, Milton Keynes, Andover and Exeter. CA is an entirely independent agency which acts for public and private sector clients, including governmental bodies and executive agencies. CA undertakes fieldwork throughout Britain and beyond. Established in 1989, the company has successfully completed over 6000 projects in all areas of the UK from Cornwall to Shetland and Kent to Northern Ireland.

Duncan and Derek spoke about the recent Archaeological Work in Devon at both Wolborough Street in Newton Abbot and a proposed site for a large international retail here in Exeter.

John Ashment, the Centre Manger at Basepoint Exeter said ‘it was great to see so many people attending our first event of 2017 with lots of new businesses excited to make new potential business contacts. The talk by Cotswold Archaeology was very interesting and engaged all within the room, promoting lots of inquisitive questions in the question and answer session at the end of the talk’.

Our next quaterly networking hub will be on Thursday 9th March from 11.00am - 1.00pm.
