Basepoint Business Centre support Michael Sobell Hospice with £10,000,00 donation for match funding 2016/17

On Wednesday 18th January, Katie Knott, Centre Manager and Jackie-Lynn Bowden, Assistant Manager from Basepoint Eastcote went along to see the Michael Sobell House Hospice to find out how they were doing and how we can work together to support them with their future plans. Lindsey Fealey, Chief Executive and Sam Heggie, PR & Marketing Manager were more than happy with Basepoint’s support to date, and when presenting the match funding donation today of £10,000.00, they were extremely appreciative.

Michael Sobell House Hospice has an amazing year planned for 2017. Their plans will include the 40-year anniversary of Michael Sobell Hospice from February 14th 2017 and promises to be a very poignant year in which they highlight some of their incredible achievements and successes in supporting local people and their families, four decades on. As Basepoint is owned by The ACT Foundation, a leading UK grant making charity, each Basepoint Centre is dedicated to fundraising for a selected local charity and The ACT Foundation match funds any money raised for the chosen Charity, up to a maximum of £10,000.

As well as match funding, each Basepoint Centre takes a keen interest in supporting their chosen Charity through their own fundraising activities held at their Centre including coffee mornings, raffles and book sale
