SME 2017 Awards Launch

Luton

Business leaders can show love for what they do at the launch of a brand new set of awards for SMEs in Bedfordshire on Valentine’s Day, Tuesday, February 14.

Joint headline sponsor of the SME Bedfordshire Business Awards are Stanair and the county’s branch of FSB. The business group’s Bedfordshire chairman, Ian Cording, has spoken out to encourage companies and lone traders to get involved.

Ian said: “Businesses people often say they are ‘passionate’ about what they do and on the auspicious occasion of this Valentine’s Day they can prove it!

“In the business community, the letters SME usually mean “Small and Medium Enterprise” but this year they can mean “Smooch, Mad-for and Embrace” as well.

“Entering awards is a cost-effective way that entrepreneurs can show true love for their businesses.”

The SME branded business awards have already seen resounding launches in Northamptonshire, Surrey, Cambridgeshire and Buckinghamshire and are open to all businesses with fewer than 250 employees. This includes new businesses and it is free to enter, all online.

Awards organiser Events & PR is holding the press launch event and photo call at Putteridge Bury, in Hitchin Road, Luton, from 12.30pm-1.30pm on February 14.

Damian Cummins, of Events and PR said: “The launch event is also a great networking opportunity, so we urge businesses in the county to attend. They may even get a free hug!”
