Charity Art Exhibition
Basepoint attended a special art exhibition and auction with Michael Sobell Hospice at Moor Park Golf Club.
Two local hospices have come together to celebrate seventy years of hospice care in the local community with an Art Exhibition and Auction, that was held at Moor Park Golf Club on Friday the 10th February. The Hospices joined together to organise the Art Exhibition, and silent Auction featuring works of art produced by patients, staff and local artists in the Orangery at Moor Park mansion. All the artwork was available to buy during the one-day exhibition via a silent auction bid and raised over £5000.00. Proceeds from the auction will be split between the two hospices.
Michael Sobell Hospice, Northwood, which opened its doors on February 14th (Valentine’s Day), 1977, will be celebrating its 40th anniversary year, and St Luke’s Hospice, Kenton, which opened in July 1987 will be celebrating its 30th anniversary.
