Photography surrounds us in every moment and yet, we often don’t realise how powerful the images we capture every day can be. Today, we can share memories across the globe in seconds. Photography is an invention that has revolutionised the way we see the world. We can visit places without leaving our home. We can share adventures with friends in another city and we can watch grandchildren grow up thousands of kilometers away. There was a time when photography didn’t exist. We are running a centre competition for best Basepoint photo. Please tweet your Basepoint Business Centre photos to @BAsepoint_Tewks. We will be offering a bottle of champagne to the winner. All tweets must take place on the 16th August 2017 and contain the hastag #worldphotoday. Judging will take place on the 17th August 2017 and champagne will be awarded to the winner. The criteria for marking is as follows; comedy value; obvious it has been taken at Basepoint Tewkesbury. Good luck!
