Fund raiser Network Hub was a huge success
A B2B Network Hub held at Bromsgrove Basepoint raised £786.00 in aid of The MS Society. Local companies, Haines Watts, Prosser Knowles, Thursfields Solicitors and Red Admiral Designs, made generous donations to set up business stands in the Basepoint foyer whilst attendees were able to network and swop business cards over a glass of Prosecco. There was also a raffle with fabulous prizes of bottles Champagne, whiskey and gin, a tea for two...and of course chocolate.
Local business leaders and Basepoint Licencees enjoyed an amazing talk by Laurence Trackman of Chocolate Harbour who is known as the "Professor of Chocolate" at the "University of Happiness".
Laurence has travelled the world on cruise ships speaking about the history of chocolate, how it is made and why eating it can be good for your health.. Laurence explained why different chocolates taste the way they do and gave the attendees the chance to sample them. The event was enjoyed by all who attended.
