Feeding people without judgement

Shoreham

Basepoint Shoreham is working alongside Toni Barrington of The Magazine Production Company to raise awareness of the Refugee Community Kitchen by asking licensees to donate tinned food to help the refugees living in the camps of Europe.

The aim of the RCK is to collect as much tinned food as they can by 30 June and then drive to Dunkirk to help the refugees. The kitchens and initiatives are built and run in conjunction with various grass roots and Non-Government-Organisations, that work 24/7, are run solely by volunteers and are supported by crowd funders, vital food and money donations. The main aim is to offer assistance in the form of nourishing meals and access to fresh food daily. The RCK have cooked every day, 7 days a week since 1st of December 2015, cooked over 570,000 meals and served over half a million tonnes of food!
