Basepoint Winchester Match Fund £4K to Local Charity
Basepoint WInchester had the pleasure of presenting a cheque for £4,000 to local nominated charity, The Joe Glover Trust In June 2017.
The charity are Basepoint's nominated charity for the year and are giving a total of £10,000 match funding to the charity.
The Joe Glover Trust is a Hampshire based children’s cancer charity working with families and specialist children’s cancer units across Hampshire, Dorset, Wiltshire, West Sussex, the Isle of Wight and the Channel Islands.
The Trust was formed in 2007 following the death of eight-year-old Joe Glover to Non-Hodgkins Lymphoma.
Lucy Middleton, Centre Manager, comments "I am so pleased we are working with The Joe Glover Trust again this year and offering them match funding support. We gave £10,000 last year and very happy to be doing this again. The Marketing and events team work tirelessly to promote the charity and raise money throughout the year, it is lovely that we can match fund this to create more support for the charity."
