Connect and Grow launch a new networking event.
The 24th April 2013 saw Connect and Grow hold the launch of their new networking initiative ‘Connect in the Country’ sponsored by the Affinity Partnership Assets a Swindon Basepoint licensee.
It was a golden opportunity for like-minded people to connect and have some fun at this unique event which involved a variety of activities, such as Wellie Wanging, The Duck Run, Blind Sheep and The Lamb National. Over 60 businesses attended what turned out to be a really popular, fun event that got all the guests laughing, moving and connecting in a relaxed and informal atmosphere. As the title suggests, the event was held outdoors and involved a range of country activities plus a warming lunch with plenty of time to connect and grow business relationships along the way. Lyn Chapman Centre Manager at Basepoint Swindon commented ‘We all had such giggle when trying our hand at the activities, which helped us all bond as a team. It was an absolute treat to see The Lamb National especially after hearing that the lambs had run at Ascot the previous week.’
