A survey from Regus’ parent company IWG finds flexible working helps cut costs and boost employee productivity
From HR directors to entrepreneurs to PAs, flexible office spaces are helping all kinds of businesspeople work better. In IWG’s , well over two thirds of respondents (79%) said that flexible workspace has played a role in their company’s success.
Among the key reasons are low running costs and the fact that facilities and social spaces are set up for maximum productivity. Additionally, with Regus workspaces available in over 1,000 towns and cities around the world, professionals can cut down their commuting times and costs, as well as strike a better balance between their home and professional life.
Alex Grande, Founder and CEO of employee recognition and rewards platform Recognize, says he uses Regus offices in the US because they are well-designed and affordable.

The Networking Hub is a free B2B networking event hosted by Basepoint in our business centres across the country. The events are open to all kinds of businesses and our aim is to give all those that attend the opportunity to meet new people, to build on existing business relationships and to generate new leads. Sustainable, well-designed and vibrant communities are the future for Tewkesbury, as the borough council wins its bid for the area to become a new Garden Town.
The government announced on Monday, 25 March that Tewkesbury and its surrounding area is one of only a handful of locations to be awarded Garden Town status, which will see it receive around three quarters of a million pounds in initial funding to deliver long-term sustainable development plans.
Tewkesbury Borough Council submitted its bid to the government to become a Garden Town in November last year, explaining that the Tewkesbury area is the perfect place to be a part of the scheme due to its key location surrounding J9 of the M5 and the critical role it plays in the growth of Gloucestershire.
