Basepoint Supports Local Community Awards
Basepoint joined a host of award winners at the glamorous Community Awards presentation evening this week.
The Luton Community Awards, an initiative created and run by Community Interest Luton, is now in its 9th successive year and is proving to be bigger and better each year.
Fiona Wells, Centre Manager at Basepoint Luton, presented the award for 'Service With A Smile' alongside joint sponsor Bedfordshire Police. The runners up of this award were Gwynne Ward and MD Ashique Mallick while Netti Pepper and Katie Digan took home the overall winner award.
Fiona commented, "These awards are more than just business awards. They celebrate those people in the local community who go above and beyond, donating their time and resources to local causes. It is a pleasure to support such a worthy cause and to give back to the local community."
