Networking Hub & Events
The Networking Hub is a free B2B networking event hosted by Basepoint in our business centres across the country. The events are open to all kinds of business and our aim is to give all those that attend the opportunity to meet new people, to build on existing business relationships and to generate new leads. The format of the events are largely informal with a brief talk from a local guest speaker, a complimentary light buffet style lunch and plenty of opportunity to network with other attendees. Alongside this, Basepoint provide a business card prize draw and a business 2 business exchange facility in which attendees can promote their business to other attendees.

Photography surrounds us in every moment and yet, we often don’t realise how powerful the images we capture every day can be. Today, we can share memories across the globe in seconds. Photography is an invention that has revolutionised the way we see the world. We can visit places without leaving our home. We can share adventures with friends in another city and we can watch grandchildren grow up thousands of kilometers away. There was a time when photography didn’t exist.
We are running a centre competition for best Basepoint photo. Please tweet your Basepoint Business Centre photos to @BAsepoint_Tewks. We will be offering a bottle of champagne to the winner. All tweets must take place on the 16th August 2017 and contain the hastag #worldphotoday. Judging will take place on the 17th August 2017 and champagne will be awarded to the winner. The criteria for marking is as follows; comedy value; obvious it has been taken at Basepoint Tewkesbury. Good luck!

On Friday 14th July we will be treating our licencees to a Wimbledon themed cream tea, in the breakout area from 10:30 - 11:30. There will be tea, coffee, scones and strawberries on offer and of course lashings of cream. We hope to see you there.

Adult Learners’ Week (19 – 25 June 2017) is an annual campaign which celebrates and promotes adult learning opportunities. Now in over 55 countries worldwide, its intention in Wales is to signpost the huge variety of courses available to the adult learner, and to prompt adults across the country into returning to learning. Each year, over 10,000 adults in Wales participate in Adult Learners’ Week activities. This is achieved by working with a host of private and public organisations on the promotion of free taster events, local outreach activities and short courses.

On Friday 26th May Amelia Breakwell will be displaying her Neal's Yard products in the breakout area between 10:30 and 12:30. You are invited along to view her products whilst also enjoying a cup of tea/coffee and a cake during our usual weekly networking event. Amelia will also be offering free mini hand massages and will be running a raffle in aid of our Centre's nominated Charity, Winston's Wish. We do hope you can come along.
