The team at Basepoint Tewkesbury got together with the licensees this week for some festive fun. This year's Christmas party was full of festive cheer, delicious food, bucks fizz and lots of silly jumpers, all in aid of Save the Children. SmartSurvey , the bootstrapped Tewkesbury-based provider of digital survey solutions, has won a three-year contract to supply survey and consultation software to the General Medical Council (GMC). The GMC, an independent organisation, is the official register of medical practitioners within the United Kingdom that helps to protect patients and improve medical education and practice across the UK. They collect a wealth of information about the medical profession and the organisations where doctors practise and train. Research that the GMC collects, via online surveys, helps to make sure that policies and decisions are based on evidence.
This is a free event organised by Tewkesbury Rotary Club with a collection made for local charities.

Could this be the biggest burger in Gloucestershire? Street food seller Clive Williams-Bond is wondering whether his latest creation is the largest burger anywhere in the county. he man who runs Double O’s BBQ...Licensed to Grill in Back of Avon, Tewkesbury, said: “We now have a combination burger on our menu which has over 40 ounces of meat in it. “I just want to know if this is the biggest burger in Gloucestershire?” Clive started his business, based by the River Avon in the town centre, in June. He showed his commitment to it by having the name of his business tattooed on his left ankle. The inked artwork says Licensed to Grill and is above a picture of a James Bond-style gun.
