The Networking Hub is a free B2B networking event hosted by Basepoint in our business centres across the country. The events are open to all kinds of business and our aim is to give all those that attend the opportunity to meet new people, to build on existing business relationships and to generate new leads. The format of the events are largely informal with a brief talk from a local guest speaker, a complimentary light buffet style lunch and plenty of opportunity to network with other attendees. Alongside this, Basepoint provide a business card prize draw and a business 2 business exchange facility in which attendees can promote their business to other attendees.

You are invited to join us at our coffee and cakes networking in the breakout area from 10:30 – 11:30am. You can expect a friendly and relaxed atmosphere, with complimentary coffee and cakes. This is a great way to meet people from other businesses in the Centre developing business contacts, relationships and becoming part of the community at the Centre.

The event will be hosted by Centre Manager, Claire Vagges and will feature a talk by Andy Kime of the Growth HUB. Andy will be explaining the purpose of the Growth Hub and how it can help Gloucestershire based businesses to grow. Why they are here, how they operate and what they do. The Growth HUB offer fully funded business support to growing SME companies in Gloucestershire. The key areas are Sales & Marketing, Strategy, Operations, Finance, People & Skills, Innovation and Export. They have a lot of delivery options which depend on the client’s requirements, ranging from self service online to one on one support from a Business Guide, and all in between. Their purpose is to help Gloucestershire businesses grow, increase employment and increase their profitability.

We will be taking part in the Save the Children Christmas Jumper Day on Friday the 15th December! We look forward to seeing everyone in their most festive and silly sweaters. Everyone who joins in and gives £2 to take part on the 15th December will be making the world better with a sweater! There will also be the usual coffee and cakes on offer so please do come along.
