If you need a bit of a festive boost, take a look at the glorious display at Sudeley Castle, where the Spectacle of Light launches this week.
This is the fifth year the Winchcombe based historic gardens have hosted light displays, and this year the theme is The Nutcracker.
The Sudeley Castle website says: “Discover the magical characters of The Nutcracker as you progress around the beautiful gardens and enchanted woodland.
“Gaze at the sparkling water features and the flickering field of fire. Light beams, lanterns and much, much more.”
With wooden soldiers and the sugarplum fairy hiding in the display for little visitors to spot, the whole event takes place in the open air, within the coming Tier 2 restrictions.
Times to visit the gardens start at 4.45pm and last ticketed entry is at 7.15pm.
If you wish to be able to go see the displays for yourself, act fast as not many available time slots for the ticketed event.
